Better facilities are on their way for students at Quarry Hill Primary School with the appointment of an architect to design the school’s important upgrade thanks to the Andrews Labor Government.
State Labor Member for Bendigo East Jacinta Allan MP today announced Chaulk Studio would design works to be undertaken at Quarry Hill Primary School to replace the existing student amenities block.
The state government has provided $499,637 to go towards the project which will improve amenity, cleanliness and hygiene for students at the school.
The Victorian Budget 2022/23 invested $41.8 million in the Minor Capital Works Fund to improve learning spaces as well as the condition and character of schools.

In the past eight years, the Victorian Government has invested $12.8 billion in building new schools and more than 1,850 school upgrades, creating around 17,400 jobs in construction and associated industries. The Victorian Government is ahead of schedule in its commitment to deliver 100 new schools between 2019 and 2026, with 75 new schools opening between 2019 and 2024.
